Eligibility criteria: From amongst the regular Group ‘C’ staff in Level-1 of pay matrix Rs.18,000- 56,900 (pre-revised pay band-1 of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-) in the office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms who possess valid Driving License for Motor Cars failing which from officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group C Employees in Pay Band 1 of Rs.5,200-20,200, grade Pay of Rs.1800 in other Ministries of the Central Government who fulfill the necessary Educational and other qualifications.

Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits

Essential :

• Possession of a valid driving license for motorcars;
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor
  defects In vehicles);
• Experience of driving a motorcar for at least three years; and
• Pass in 10th standard

Desirable:       Three years’ experience as Home Guard or Civil Volunteers
